Broadband Internet Access Service Level Agreement &
Acceptable Use Policy
IAMNet, Inc. agrees to provide customer with broadband service for access to the public Internet through IAMNet’s network. Customer agrees that service is provided for the exclusive use of customer identified herein. Customer may not redistribute internet access to other subscribers.
Anti-Virus Filtering
Broadband service provided by IAMNet is a direct, always-on network connection to the public internet. The customer agrees to assume all risks related to anti-virus protection of customer’s computer connected to this connection.
Firewall Protection
The customer agrees to assume all risks associated with unsolicited attempts to access customer equipment from the public internet. Broadband services provided by IAMNet join the IAMNet network outside of the IAMNet firewall and are not protected by it.
VOIP Services
Although IAMNet strides to provide a low latency network IAMNet does not guarantee VOIP quality services and does not support troubleshooting of VOIP beyond our equipment. VOIP will not work with all service plans and not all service plans are available in all areas.
Connection Speed
Connection speed is subject to network usage, distance limits, wire line quality, and routing that are beyond IAMNet’s control. Customer agrees that connection speed of the broadband link does not guarantee that the public internet will perform at that speed due to internet loads beyond the boundaries of IAMNet. Connection to customer is not dedicated and is delivered based on best efforts.
IAMNet Termination of Service

IAMNet may temporarily or permanently suspend service for failure by customer to pay agreed fees by due date. Due date shall be fourteen (14) days from billing date each month. Fees will continue to accrue during suspension until fees are paid or equipment is returned.

Illegal Activity In addition IAMNet may terminate service immediately and without refund if illegal or irresponsible activity is conducted by customer. Illegal activity includes but is not limited to gambling, distribution of illegal pornographic material , distributing or downloading copyrighted material or solicitation for sexual activity. Irresponsible use includes offensive bulk mail (spam), attempts to breach IAMNet’s security (user IDs, passwords) or complaints from other IAMNet subscribers of such behavior.
In either event IAMNet will notify customer of the reason for the service interruption. Upon termination, customer agrees to return equipment provided by IAMNet for the service. If equipment is not returned within fourteen (14) days IAMNet will charge the current list price of the equipment to the customer’s card
Customer Termination of Service

Contract: Customers on contract service plans shall be liable for an early termination fee of $150 plus loss of price discounts for termination prior to the initial agreed upon term. The Customer may terminate this agreement without termination fees under the following conditions: failure of broadband link to maintain at least 250 Kbps under normal operating conditions. Customer must give 10 days notice to IAMNet in writing with reason for cancellation. Once term is fulfilled customer will continue on a month to month basis.

Month to Month: Customers on month to month service plans will, upon termination, be refunded any unused portion of equipment deposit upon return of equipment in good working order.
Seasonal Customers
Customers wishing to be seasonal shall have the option of having IAMNet put the radio into off -season mode allowing them a reduced rate and avoiding re-installation fees. Re-installation fee is equal to installation fee. Seasonal customers cannot be in off-season more than seven (7) months out of the year in a one year period.
Bandwidth Consumption
IAMNet does not limit the amount of data downloaded in a period.
Limited Liability
Due to forces of nature and other situations beyond its control, IAMNet cannot guarantee continuous or uninterrupted service. Customer shall hold IAMNet and all IAMNet employees or agents harmless from any and all obligations, liabilities, losses, and costs incurred as the result of the service interruption or discontinuation.
