Project Updates

We have deployed a solar powered distribution point to serve homes around the Lake Massasecum area. We will continue to update this page with information specifically for the Massasecum service area.

June 1st, 2010 We received approval from the Zoning board and are now scheduling installs for service. May 11th, 2010 Public hearing with the Bradford Planning board was held with success and support. December 16, 2009 We have moved past feasibility testing and have begun deployment testing. We still have several hurdles concerning providing bandwidth to our facility. We are continuing to move forward with development as we work to overcome this challenge. September 10th, 2009 Began link tests in the areas of East Shore Drive, Crittenden Rd, Davis Rd, Lake Massasecum Rd and parts of Massasecum Ave. August 27, 2009 Completed wiring batteries to solar array and powered up the Access Point radio for  subscriber link tests. Radio is configured and tests are beginning. July 30th, 2009 Wired the solar panels to demo tower and completed wiring to voltage regulator in preparation for setting up radio link tests across the lake. July 22th, 2009: Tested backhaul from the demarc at base of the mountain to the tower site. Tests were all positive.
