Bill Thompson Bill Thompson is the second president and CEO of IAMNET. Taking over from the founder in 2002, Mr. Thompson guided the corporation through complex technology changes, territory expansion, product line growth and a move to its present location in Bradford. After receiving his degree in electrical engineering from University of Notre Dame he joined Raytheon Missile Systems as a Reliability analyst. After two assignments at small engineering consulting companies he went to GTE Government Systems (now General Dynamics C4S) where he developed design automation processes for logic designers.
Mr. Thompson's technical expertise at IAMNET/Redempsys is the installation, configuration and maintenance of the routers and Linux servers for Email, Web hosting, DNS, RADIUS and backup file servers. He designed the point-to-point/multipoint wireless networks deployed by IAMNET in Newbury Harbor and Bradford as well as the wired broadband network in downtown Bradford.
James Thompson James Thompson, VP of Network Operations, joined IAMNet in 2006. He comes from a business and economics background and has been instrumental in the success of IAMNet with more than 8 years in IT support. During his college career as well as after graduating from Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts he worked for the Center for Educational Technologies in Gordon's IT department. His role included managing the campus Microsoft license agreement and HP laptop purchase plan as well as overseeing eighteen student helpdesk workers. In 2006 he saw an opportunity to continue to grow and brought his skill set to IAMNet while pursuing IT certifications. He is currently a Microsoft Certified Professional and has Comptia A+, Network+ and Server+ certifications.
