Kerio Webmail Tutorial
http://kerio.iamnow.net is the log-in page for OPTIONAL web access to your e-Mail, using your browser (Internet Explorer). This is a convenience provided to our subscribers who would like to check mail when not at home and not able to use their personal computer. It is not intended to be a replacement for the mail client on your personal computer.
This internet access location can be bookmarked in your "Favorites". This is where your delivered e-mail is ready to be downloaded to your personal computer. This http://kerio.iamnow.net URL allows you to access, read, reply, and send new mail from any internet browser (Internet Explorer, etc.). You can also remove unwanted e-mail before downloading to your personal computer.
Log-in by typing the first part of your eMail address (the part in front of the "@" sign) as your username and then type in your password.
A (Brief) Description of Your Inbox
In the upper lefthand corner, you will see your account ID (user): (*) "anybody"@kerio.iamnow.net
Please note: this nomenclature, with the "kerio" word, identifies your account on the e-Mail server equipment at our facility. It is not an indication of your eMail address. However, all eMail addressed to you at "iamnow.net" (without the "kerio" word) as well as all eMail addressed to you which includes the "kerio" word, is delivered to your mailbox.
Under your user / account ID you will see a listing of your folders. To the right of the folder listing are the following digest column headings: All, From, Subject, Size, Date,Action. Under the Action heading are three selections: Re, Fwd , and Del. The first one, Re, is for REPLY. The second one, Fwd, is for FORWARD. The third one, Del, is for DELETE. (Please do not mistake this for "Deliver". This is not a separate quarantine. There is no need to "Deliver" any mail, it has already arrived and is waiting to be downloaded to your personal computer.)
To Create New Mail
To create a new message, click on the new mail link which is located just to the right of your user / account ID. Enter the address to which you are sending the mail, enter your subject in the subject line, type your message, click SEND. After you receive the message "your mail has been sent", click on the INBOX link to return to your inbox.
Attachments
There is an "attachment" field at the bottom of the header (to/from/subject) section. If you would like to send your eMail with an attachment, click on the Browse bar at the end of this attachment field, browse to the location of the document / picture you would like to attach, click on the name of that document / picture to select (highlight) it, then click on "Open". You will now see the title of that document / picture in the attachment field. If you would like to send more than one attachment, click on the More (bar), a new blank attachment field will become available, and repeat the "browse / open" process.
To View Mail, Forward, and/or Reply To Mail
Click on the subject line of any e-Mail in the digest listing to read the contents. When the mail is opened for your view, you can select REPLY, FORWARD, DELETE, or return to INBOX. When you select REPLY, type your message then click SEND. After a confirmation that your mail has been sent appears, click INBOX to return to your INBOX.
If you select DELETE from the viewing page, you will be automatically returned to your INBOX. You will see the message remains in your INBOX, selected and marked for deletion as indicated by the line now appearing through the message. If you are certain you want to permanently delete this message, click EXPUNGE at the bottom of your INBOX. If you have made an error in clicking on the DELETE in the viewing page, you can unselect the pending deletion by once again clicking on the Del at the right-hand end of the message digest (subject) line in the INBOX.
