We have successfully recovered data from hard drives that have been wiped and formatted, won't boot or click loudly, even soaked in water!
The limitation to our efforts is opening up the drive. Hard drives are hermetically sealed to keep dust out. The heads (seen in the photo at right) float on a cushion of air over the platters and a single spec of dust can destroy a drive. We do not have a facility to open up a drive and access the platters. We can help you determine if a hard drive would need to be opened and recommend companies that can help. If we can make the hard drive spin we can make the effort!
We can also help you prevent a disaster from happening with our Redempsys product. Never assume someone can recover your data if you need it! Take precautions and back up your data. Then run a test restore.
You don't know your backup works until you have tested it. Many people fail to do a test restore.
