Creating a new Email Account:

  1. Begin by opening Outlook Express. Select Tools from the top menu and scroll down until you find Accounts.

  2. Left click the Mail tab. Click the Add button in the upper right-hand corner of the Internet Accounts window, and then click on Mail in the menu that appears.

  3. A new window will open asking for your name. Type it in as you would like recipients of your messages to see it. Once you have done this click Next.

  4. A new window will open asking you to enter your email address. This will be the address that has been set up for you by IAMNet. Type it in carefully and when you have made sure that it is correct, click Next.

  5. The next window that appears will need server information.
    • "POP3" is already highlighted.
    • In the box under "Incoming Mail ...", type in: kerio.iamnow.net
    • In the box under "Outgoing Mail ...", type in: imail.iamnow.net
      Now click Next

  6. In the next window that appears, you will configure your Internet Mail log-on as follows:
    • Using as an example, enter your personal login account information.
      In this example, anyone represents the first part of your eMail address.
      Immediately after the first part of your eMail address, please be sure to include @kerio.iamnow.net
    • The box for remembering your password is optional.
    • Do not check the box labeled: Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA). Click Next to continue.

  7. Click Finish to save your settings and go to your new Outlook Express account.

  8. Go back to ‘tools’, ‘Accounts’ click on the ‘Mail’ tab. Highlight your mail account if it isn’t already by clicking once on it then click on ‘Properties’.

  9. Click on the ‘Servers’ tab. (You should also see your account name and password (*****) here). Be sure ‘My server requires authentication’ is checked, then click on settings. Make sure the bullet is in the box for ‘Use same settings as my incoming mail server’. Then click ‘ok’ on that page, and ‘apply on this page.
