MASSASECUM NETWORK NEWS Network uptime for the backbone link increased to 24x7 after replacement of the solar charge controller. Next project is a speed upgrade of the backbone network. Dec 31 2012 - HAPPY NEW YEAR At last I am able to update this web page! More to come... Sept 20, 2010 We began offering service to homes in  southern Newbury in the areas of Red House, Woodbine, East Ridge, Meadow, Old Post, Old Province and Southern facing areas of High Meadow roads. June 1st, 2010 We received approval from the Zoning board and are now scheduling installs for highspeed service at Lake Massasecum. May 11th, 2010 We had our planning board public hearing for the Massasecum project last night. Hopefully only a few more hurdles before we are able to begin providing service. Many thanks to all those who have helped us thus far. February 21st, 2010 Sometime around 8am all phone service in Newbury was disconnected while Fairpoint worked on the lines. This also disconnected all internet services to our customers as well. Internet was restored around 7pm. We are as frustrated with Fairpoint as everyone else for causing this outage. February 16th,2010 We had the opportunity to build a computer at the Bradford Community Center with a small group as a demonstration. It was a fun experience and we look forward to continuing to give time in the future. January 28,2010 During the 10am hour our upstream provider was knocked offline. The issue appears resolved as of 12pm today. If you are still experiencing problems please call us. December 11, 2009 During the night Fairpoint has experienced a failure affecting ATT IAMNet Newbury Broadband customers. ATT is working to resolve the issue. *Update* Network connectivity was restored around 10:30am. November 30, 2009 We experienced a failure at our gateway around 3:15pm. By 5:30pm we had identified and repaired the issue. All network activity returned to normal at this time. August 28, 2009 TDS has made changes to how they handle email from iamnet users using TDS internet access. View changes in our Common Questions section. July 30th, 2009 Posted an update to the Massasecum Project on the Current Projects page. July 13th, 2009 We are working to bring high speed to the back of Lake Massasecum. Visit 'Current Projects' to learn about our progress. July 10, 2009 Our old site can still be accessed through the navigation buttons on the left while you get used to our new layout. July 6, 2009 Turned on western facing radio in Newbury harbor to serve the western side of the lake as well as people on Bell Cove and Newbury Heights Rd areas. December 5, 2008 During the morning of Dec 5th we experienced phone trouble. The trouble ticket has been closed and phones are up and working again. If you failed to reach us during this time and received a number disconnected error the issue has been resolved.
